As We Were Dreaming

Adapted from the award-winning novel by Clemens Meyer, As We Were Dreaming charts the story of five childhood friends who hit adolescence precisely as the Berlin Wall comes down and their hometown of Leipzig becomes pivotal in the fall of Communism. Beyond dealing with the everyday pains of love, success and searching for meaning, these emergent adults must wrestle with a whole new identity as exposure to the West opens up all number of temptations, torments and troubles.
